The Johns Hopkins Evidence Based Practice (JHEBP) Model and Guidelines, 5th Edition, will be available in mid-April – and today we’re kicking off a new series featuring the updated JHEBP tools: also known as Appendices A-J. The authors of the 5th edition, Madeleine (Maddie) Whalen, Kim Bissett, and Judy Ascenzi will be joining us throughout the series to provide an overview of each In this episode, listen in as Maddie Whalen, Evidence-Based Practice Program Coordinator for the Johns Hopkins Health System, and Heather Watson, Nurse Scientist for the Johns Hopkins Health System, discuss what’s new in the 5th edition! It has been updated to reflect the way frontline nurses and other healthcare professionals use evidence – and the process is now simpler and easier.
